After learning that she had ceased filming part of Season 14, Kyle Richards has now admitted that her break should have been a bit longer. The longest-tenured cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spoke on Amazon Live about some of this season’s burning questions, all while dishing out her holy grail fashion picks from Amazon for fans to shop her go-to Aspen looks – from Kemo Sabe-inspired cowboy hats to luxurious coats for less. It’s an admission that doesn’t come as as a shock to fans watching the difficult season.
Between the shopping spree, fans were given a delicious dose of pipping hot tea ranging from her takes on the current season, her communication with PK Kemsley, and, of course, the status of her friendship with Dorit Kemsley. None of these topics would have been discussed had she taken the season off. “I probably should’ve taken the season off, to be honest, but I didn’t, and I was not equipped to deal with walking into those settings and feeling like I was being ambushed every time,” she revealed to her viewers.
Kyle Shares Just Enough During Her Live Show
During her Amazon Live session, Kyle Richards dove deep into the burning questions fans have been asking her all season long. Admitting she had not been completely caught up in the season, the RHOBH star admitted, “It’s not good for my anxiety, and it’s been really frustrating and hard to watch when, you know, I felt like every time I went into the group, I was ambushed. And it was like starting right out of the gate, you know, it was not fun going to Sutton’s party, and then Dorit and I got into that. I started feeling like even people who I thought were my friends. I had to question, and I was honestly depressed at that time. I really was.”

She continued on to discuss her status with the Kemsleys and how it’s played out in her life and on the show. Concerning her text conversations with PK, she believed that everyone was taking the conversations out of context. She continued to clarify the order of events about when the couple first announced their separation. “I had said that I had reached out to Dorit and PK – both of them – when they announced their separation, but no one seems to be mentioning that. And the women knew this, so when I read that text message, that was the message that I had sent PK when they announced their separation, and I sent Dorit one too. So they’re making it seem like ‘Oh, Kyle’s not telling the truth, she said it was just memes.’ I told everybody that I sent both Dorit and PK a text when their separation was announced, and that’s what I thought a good friend would do. That’s what people did when they found out about Mau and me, and I appreciated that, and so did Mau.”
Of course, everyone is dying to know the truth about the status of Dorit and Kyle’s friendship. Kyle shared that she felt that Dorit was wrongfully coming at her too hard, even when they had temporarily made up. But does their story have a happy ending? “I mean, I’m not supposed to give too much away, but yes, we’re in a much, much better place now. But you know, then the show airs, and you get mad again, and then we’ll have to do the reunion, and then it won’t be good again, so that part about being on reality television makes me sad.” Well, there’s still hope for a happy ending! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8:00pm on Bravo. All episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
