Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart, Dopesick, No One Will Save You) is set to co-star for in Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla x Kong Monsterverse sequel.
This next film is going to be directed by Grant Sputore, following Adam Wingard, who directed the last two installments, and the script is coming from Dave Callaham.
The new movie is described as a continuation of the franchise centering Godzilla, Kong and an assortment of other Titans.
While Kong and Godzilla will still be the leads of the film, Legendary is looking to build more on its human characters. Dever is a great young actress and I’m sure she’ll make a stong addition to the film.
The question is will this new filmmaker actually be able to tell a strong character-driven story along with the franchise’s signature epic scale and Titan-battles? I wasn’t a fan of the couple of film directed by Winger, so lets see what happens under a new director.
