Voice actresses Ai Furihata (Love Live! Sunshine!!) and Ai Kayano (Mushoku Tensei) are joining the cast as Atsuko and Chizuko Chuuzenji, respectively.
Music project Sizuk (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) is performing the ending theme “Kimi no Shiranai Koto.”
Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director) is helming the anime at 100studio. Atsushi Oka (Ookamikakushi script) is in charge of the series composition and script. Masahiko Suzuki (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu) is designing the characters. Keiichi Hirokawa (MONACA) (Shangri-La Frontier) and Ryuuichi Takada (MONACA) (Summertime Render) are composing the music.
Shimizu began the manga—a spin-off to Natsuhiko Kyougoku’s Hyakki Yakou novel series—in Shounen Magazine Edge in October 2019. Following the magazine’s discontinuance, the manga switched to the Comic Days app in December 2023. Kodansha published the tenth volume on October 8, with the 11th volume planned for a March 7 release.
