The official X account of the Ballpark de Tsukamaete! (The Catcher in the Ballpark!) television anime revealed additional cast on Thursday. The anime series adapting Tatsurou Suga’s sports comedy manga will premiere in 2025.

Kokoro: Momoko Seto (Liar Liar)
Junichi Kitamura (Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu.) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi (Dark Gathering) is handling the series composition. Fumio Iida (Basquash!) is designing the characters and MONACA (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) is composing the music.
Suga began serializing the sports comedy manga in Morning magazine in September 2020. The 15th volume was released on November 21.
