The trailer for Bring Them Down has been released.
Bring Them Down is a new drama thriller movie starring Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott. The feature film directorial debut of Christopher Andrews, Bring Them Down will be released in February 2025 courtesy of MUBI.

What is Bring Them Down about?
The synopsis for Bring Them Down, via IndieWire, reads, “Michael (Abbott), the last son of a shepherding family, lives with his ailing father, Ray (Colm Meaney). Burdened by guilt over the death of his mother, Michael has isolated himself from the world. When a conflict with rival farmer Gary (Paul Ready) and his son Jack (Keoghan) escalates, Michael is drawn into a devastating chain of events, forcing him to confront the horrors of his past and leaving both families permanently altered.”
Paul Mescal and Tom Burke were initially cast as the two lead roles in Bring Them Down; however, they were replaced by Keoghan and Abbott in 2023. The film held its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. Andrews received a Best Debut Director nomination for his work on Bring Them Down at the British Independent Film Awards in November 2024.
Julianne Forde, Jacob Swan Hyam, Ivana MacKinnon, Jean-Yves Roubin, Ruth Treacy, and Cassandre Warnaut serve as producers on the movie.
Keoghan is known for starring in movies such as 2017’s The Killing of a Sacred Deer, 2021’s Eternals, 2022’s The Banshees of Inisherin, and 2023’s Saltburn, while he’ll soon be seen in Trey Edward Shults Hurry Up Tomorrow, which releases in May 2025. Abbott, meanwhile, has been in 2020’s Possessor, 2022’s Sanctuary, 2024’s Kraven the Hunter, and more. He’s also starring in Blumhouse’s Wolf Man, which opens nationwide next weekend.
Bring Them Down releases in United States theaters on February 7, 2025, from MUBI.
